Cheng has been involved in mid to large scaled property developers in the Singapore and Vietnam. He was the CEO of a boutique property developer in Singapore and held various directorships and managerial positions in his illustrious career, responsible for business strategies and operations excellence. His portfolio includes development of industrial and residential buildings, large-scale condominiums, good-class bungalows, hotels, warehouses, MRT Stations and even golf-courses.
 
His understanding of the building designs and appreciation of the environment gives him a holistic viewpoint of how buildings should be constructed with low-carbon footprints. He recognises the importance of “greenifying” buildings at this current age of energy transition and climate change, and most of his projects would include natural lightings, airflow and energy efficiency.
 
Cheng has a Master in Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
